The UK Government is currently consulting on major planning reforms in England. One area of proposed reform is environmental impact assessment, one of the founding disciplines within the ISEP membership. As part of the consultation ISEP has produced and published a note on EIA and has been purposefully circulated in advance of the upcoming EIA reform paper expected to be published in the Autumn. The ISEP note on EIA seeks to provide constructive input to the Government on the following questions:
