Still studying? Simply email info@iema.net with evidence supporting your ongoing studies so we can look to reinstate your Student membership. The annual membership fee will apply.

Graduated? Graduate membership may be the right grade for you now - have a look at the eligibility criteria and if it’s the grade for you, complete the online upgrade form to get your new membership started. You can also look at our Associate Membership if the eligibility criteria for Graduate doesn’t match your degree.

I was an Affiliate member

I was a Graduate member

Been away less than 12 months? You can simply reactivate your membership by contacting the Membership Team on +44 (0) 1522 540069 and make the annual membership payment.

Been away for more than 12 months but less than 36 months? Your membership can be reinstated if you’re able to demonstrate that you have maintained the professional knowledge required of a GradISEP member through completing our Reinstatement CPD form. Download the Reinstatement form here, complete your log with respect to the period covering your cancellation, then email it to info@iema.net for review. Once reviewed and approved we'll contact you for payment – an additional reinstatement fee will apply.

Been away for more than 36 months? There are two options for you:

• Still meet the eligibility criteria? If you still meet the criteria for Graduate membership you can re-apply but you’ll need to supply proof that you meet the eligibility criteria and pay the annual membership fee. If you need to refresh yourself on the criteria, take a look here.
• No longer meet the eligibility criteria? Don’t worry! You can still reactivate your membership with ISEP, you just need to decide which grade of membership is most suitable for you now.

I was an Associate member

Been away for more than 12 months but less than 36 months? Your membership can be reinstated if you’re able to demonstrate that you have maintained the professional knowledge required of an AISEP member through completing our Reinstatement CPD form. Download the Reinstatement form here, complete your log with respect to the period covering your cancellation, then email it to info@iema.net for review. Once reviewed and approved we'll contact you for payment – an additional reinstatement fee will apply.

Been away for more than 36 months? There are two options for you:

• Re-join as AISEP by taking the online exam. If your skills and knowledge are still aligned to our Associate membership, reapply online here. Once you’ve successfully completed the Associate entry exam, your AISEP suffix will be reinstated.
• Gained more knowledge or experience in the time you’ve been away? Why not take a look at our online Sustainability Skills Map to align your current skills, knowledge and experience to an ISEP membership grade? Once you’ve chosen the right grade for you, you can apply directly online to get your membership with ISEP reactivated.

I was a Practitioner member

Been away for more than 12 months but less than 36 months? Your membership can be reinstated if you’re able to demonstrate that you have maintained the professional knowledge required of a PISEP member through completing our Reinstatement CPD form. Once reviewed and approved we'll contact you for payment – an additional reinstatement fee will apply.

Been away for more than 36 months? There are two options for you:

• Re-join as PISEP by taking the exam and assessment. If your skills and knowledge are still aligned to our Practitioner membership, then apply online here. Once you’ve successfully completed both elements of the Practitioner assessment process, your PISEP suffix will be reinstated.
• Gained more knowledge or experience in the time you’ve been away? Why not take a look at our online Sustainability Skills Map to align your current skills, knowledge and experience to an ISEP membership grade? Once you’ve chosen the right grade for you, you can apply directly online to get your membership with ISEP reactivated.

I was a Full member

(If you also had Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), you can reinstate this at the same time.)

Been away for more than 12 months but less than 36 months? Your membership can be reinstated if you’re able to demonstrate that you have maintained the professional knowledge required of a MISEP member through completing our Reinstatement CPD form. Download the Reinstatement form here, complete your log with respect to the period covering your cancellation, then email it to info@iema.net for review. Once reviewed and approved we'll contact you for payment – an additional reinstatement fee will apply.

Been away for more than 36 months? There are two options for you:

• Re-join as MISEP* by completing the assessment. If your skills and knowledge are still aligned to our Full membership, then apply online here. Once you’ve successfully completed the assessment, your MISEP* suffix will be reinstated.
• Gained more knowledge experience in the time you’ve been away? Why not take a look at our online Sustainability Skills Map to align your current skills, knowledge and experience to see if you’re now eligible for Fellow membership (FISEP). Once you’ve decided which grade is right for you, you can apply directly online to get your membership with ISEP reactivated.

I was a Fellow member

(If you also had Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), you can reinstate this at the same time.)

Been away for more than 36 months? As you have been away from ISEP for some time, you will need to reapply online for Fellow membership, so we can reassess that you are still competent. Reapply online here to get your application started, and your membership with ISEP reinstated.

I was a Chartered Environmentalist

Have an active ISEP membership still? You can contact our Membership Team on +44 (0) 1522 540069 to get your CEnv reinstated.

No longer a member with ISEP?

• If you were a Full member with CEnv, take a look at the I was a Full member section to know how to reinstate your MISEP CEnv membership.
• If you were a Fellow member with CEnv, take a look at the I was a Fellow member section to know how to reinstate your FISEP CEnv membership.

I was registered as an Auditor, EIA Practitioner or ESOS Lead Assessor

Been away less than 12 months? You can simply reinstate your registration by contacting the Membership Team on +44 (0) 1522 540069 to make the relevant payment*. The fee required will be confirmed by a Membership Officer.

*Please be aware that you may be required to submit a CPD log prior to reinstating if CPD was outstanding at the time your registration was suspended.

Been away for more than 36 months? As you have been away from ISEP for some time you will need to reapply for your registration. Download an application pack, complete it with any required supporting documentation here, and submit it to the Membership Team at info@iema.net - they’ll contact you directly for payment. Once your payment has been received, your application will be submitted to one of our external assessors for review.
