My background is in Packaging and over 20 years working with major retailers and organisations delivering information on sustainability, my role for 10 years was as a QHSE manager with a good knowledge of Quality and Health and Safety but limited knowledge on the Environment. the companies I worked for did not see the benefits of Environmental accreditation. In my current role the company are now looking to achieve accreditation and as I had a background in some aspects I recognised a gap in my learning. I was offered the chance to do the Foundation Certificate in Environment and this then allowed me Associate membership to ISEP since joining 3 months ago I have developed a greater understanding in the the Environmental aspects of business and through online webinars and watching recorded webinars and reading Transform.
