At ISEP South West, we are continually looking for ways to strengthen our regional network, enhance the relevance of our events, and ensure we are delivering real value to our members. As highlighted in our previous blog and newsletter, we have now launched the ISEP South West Member Survey — and we genuinely want to hear from you.

Why Your Input Matters

Our South West community spans a diverse range of environmental and sustainability professionals: consultants, regulators, academics, early-career practitioners, and industry specialists. Each of you brings a unique perspective shaped by your sector, technical discipline, and professional experience.

The purpose of this survey is simple but important: to better understand what you need from ISEP South West. Whether that’s more technical CPD sessions, networking opportunities, site visits, policy-focused discussions, or cross-sector collaboration events, your feedback will directly inform our forward programme.

The survey will be distributed directly by ISEP to South West members, so please keep an eye on your inbox. We’ll also post reminders and updates via the ISEP South West LinkedIn page to ensure no one misses the opportunity to contribute.

This is your chance to influence the direction of our regional activities. The stronger the response, the better we can tailor events, webinars, and initiatives to reflect the priorities of our membership.

Catch Up: Environmental Pollution and Disasters – Follow Up

If you were unable to attend our January 2026 webinar, Environmental Pollution and Disasters – Follow Up the recording remains available via the ISEP website.

This session built on previous discussions around environmental risk, incident response, and long-term remediation strategies. It explored practical lessons learned, regulatory implications, and the broader environmental governance context surrounding pollution events and disaster management.

For those working in sustainable resource management, ESG implementation, environmental risk assessment, or responsible mining, this webinar offers valuable insights into how environmental liabilities are managed in practice — and how professionals can strengthen resilience and preparedness across sectors.

We strongly encourage members to watch the recording and continue the conversation within their organisations and professional networks.

Get Involved

ISEP South West thrives on member engagement. Whether you would like to:

  1. Propose a technical presentation
  2. Host a site visit
  3. Contribute to a panel discussion
  4. Support early-career professionals
  5. Join the regional committee

We welcome your involvement. Professional communities are only as strong as the participation behind them. Your ideas, expertise, and enthusiasm help ensure that ISEP South West remains dynamic, relevant, and responsive to the evolving environmental landscape.

If you would like to share your thoughts beyond the survey or explore ways to contribute more actively, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to hearing your voice and shaping the next chapter of ISEP South West together.
