ISEP named among Top 10 Sustainability Associations globally by Sustainability Magazine

The Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) is honoured to have been recognised by Sustainability Magazine as one of the world's Top 10 Sustainability Associations, alongside leading organisations such as the United Nations Global Compact, WWF, and Rainforest Alliance.

ISEP Deputy CEO Martin Baxter welcomed the accolade as both a validation of the Institute’s growing influence across government and business and as a recognition of members setting the benchmark for sustainability and environmental professionals globally. The institute is committed to advancing sustainability through influencing policy, driving best practice and inspiring change.

Mr Baxter said: “We are delighted to rank alongside such esteemed organisations that are driving real change. This recognition reflects the skills and passion of our members, partners, and staff in championing robust, strategic, and inclusive sustainability practice.”

Building upon insights from its 2025 State of the Sustainability Profession report, ISEP continues to shine a spotlight on emerging trends in the field – such as investment in sustainability despite current macroeconomic and geopolitical influences, compensation disparities in the sector, and the shift in responsibilities for sustainability professionals from primarily value protection towards value creation. With the recent rebrand, after formerly being known as IEMA, ISEP is doubling down on its purpose to empower our members to become global changemakers, so they can transform the world today for a sustainable future.
