About Cameron

My name is Cameron Scott, and I am an Assistant Consents & Environment Manager for SSEN Transmission. I have previously worked for Arcadis, SPEN, Wood Group and WSP, primarily specialising in the consenting of offshore and onshore wind farm developments. I am now involved in gaining S.37 consent for Overhead Lines and gaining consent for substations under the Town & Country Planning framework. Multi-sectoral collaboration is at the forefront of my day-to-day work, where I liaise with a variety of consultants, contractors, statutory & non-statutory bodies and members of the public. I also enjoy attending in-person social and networking events, contributing towards my own personal and professional development. Events such as beach cleans, seaweed searches and an ISEP-led “Glasgow Claypits” and a “Walking Tour of Glasgow’s Redevelopment” events, are but a few of the events I have attended and contributed towards – recognising the importance of citizen-science projects. On a more personal level, I enjoy living an active and outdoor lifestyle, including hiking, cycling, running and going to the gym. If I'm not working in the office or my home, you will usually find me out hiking some hill or Munro.

About Marie-Louise

I've just started working in Sweco’s Environmental and Sustainability team as a Graduate Environmental Planning Consultant. I originally studied Psychology at university before working in the pharmaceutical sector for a couple of years. I wanted to change career path to work in the environmental sector and I’m very happy I did, because I love what I do now! I like to think that my varied background hopefully gives me a multidisciplinary approach to solving problems and coming up with innovative solutions. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors hillwalking, climbing, or running, which is probably why I fell in love with Scotland and its many hills when I moved there.
