This session allowed members to feed into ISEP’s response to the Scottish Government’s Draft Circular Economy Strategy consultation. The draft strategy published as part of the Circular Economy (Scotland) Act and the Scotland’s Circular Economy and Waste Route Map to 2030 sets out priorities for reducing waste, increasing reuse and recycling, strengthening supply-chain resilience, and driving green jobs and innovation as Scotland moves toward a more circular, net-zero economy. Why your voice matters The draft strategy is currently out for consultation, closing on 13 January 2026. Responses to this consultation will help shape the final strategy and the monitoring/indicator framework that will guide targets and actions in coming years. This is a key moment for businesses, community groups, local authorities and citizens to shape how Scotland delivers a fair, resilient circular economy. The views of ISEP members will be invaluable to inform our response and help steer this important strategy in the right direction.
